Harvest FreshCuts’ original factory is in Wacol, Brisbane.

The purpose-built facility opened in September 1995. In late 2012, a multi-million dollar extension to the plant was undertaken, incorporating a larger Receivals area, a dedicated Despatch area and an additional trim and bagging line. The Wacol site employs over 250 people. Harvest FreshCuts sources its fabulously fresh produce from many south-east Queensland suppliers.

Vegco (the name we use for our Harvest FreshCuts business in Victoria) is in Bairnsdale, 300 kilometres east of Melbourne.

It is the largest salad fresh cuts factory in Australia. Vegco employs over 240 local people in the East Gippsland area and sources more than 50 different vegetables (everything from spinach and cos lettuce to tatsoi and wombok) from around 40 suppliers in the local region. Bairnsdale is located right in the heart of Victoria’s premier vegetable growing area, providing a great balance between access to raw materials and proximity to major retail markets.
